About Joe

Joe runs a growing Agricultural/Industrial supplies business from Ludlow Shropshire, where he has been in business for 4 years. Ludlow is situated some 10 miles from the Welsh border and only 15 miles from the infamous Radnor Forest and a stones throw from the glorious Haye Park, Joe grew up watching rallying as a spectator with his family and from an early age was destined to end up behind the wheel of a rally car. Starting at 18 years old with a 2 ltr 16v Sunbeam that he bought from money saved by himself from the age of 15. Joe progressed quickly, finishing 7th overall on the 2003 Woodpecker, he then took a trip into the EVO challenge arena in 2004, but with an outdated car and no financial backing soon found it impossible to compete on equal terms so called it a day sold the Evo and got a Group 4 Escort built on the proceeds, he missed all of 2005 saving while getting the car built, but ultimately it was worth it Joe now owning one of the most competitive Mk2 Escorts in the UK. Joe still struggles with free time and finances, with his business priorities always coming first, but he still gets out as often as he can afford but championships are out of the question.

Joe's approach to his driving has always been centred around continually searching for maximum speed from car and driver. In his early days he was tutored by his team, ensuring he developed the correct technique to cope with the speeds he now travels at. He has had a number of offs over the years, but Joe's philosophy has always been to find out how fast you can go, understand why you crashed, then teach yourself to maintain that speed without crashing. He's rolled twice in the last 3 years, but over the past year Joe has really started to find his rhythm and put together some exceptional results in the past 12 months, he now has the right car, engine and technique to push the boundaries of RWD, rest assured Joe has no intention of disappointing, and will always be there on maximum attack, searching for the last drop of speed from car and driver.
